Albert Lee "Al" Kiper, 89, passed away on September 12, 2015. He was a WWII Army veteran and retired from BF Goodrich Chemical. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and provider for his family who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Emma Marie Kiper and Marie Smith Kiper and daughter, Pamela Wilkins.

Al is survived by his children, Donna (Larry) Johnson and Ricky (Vickie) Kiper; step daughter, Teresa (Joe) Richards; grandchildren, Melody Winburn, Dwayne (Yayi Urive) Winburn, Amanda (Brent) Liter, Timothy (Suzannah) Kiper and Jimmy Wilkins; step-grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Richards; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Grace Kietzman, Brylee Dawn Liter, Kathryn Jade Liter, Daniel Benjamin Kiper, Lydia Madison Kiper, Eric Winburn, Mike Winburn and 2 other great-grand daughters, ; brothers, Richard Kiper and Robert (Janet) Kiper.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 10am-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Al's life beginning at 1pm.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY.
