Branham, Albert D "Al", 91, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 12, 2015. He retired from DuPont after 28 years of service. Al served in the United States Army during WWII, at which time he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
Albert was born on October 14, 1923, in Breeding, Kentucky to the late Gillam and Aileen Branham. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah Branham.
He is survived by his children, Shannon D. Scott (Earl), Joan H. Frazure; grandchildren, Walter D. Scott (Crystal), Logan W. Scott, Lindsay B. Scott, Michael L. Frazure, Allison B. Frazure, and Jason A. Frazure; and one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Scott.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
