Alba Derck
May 23, 1926 — June 18, 2016
Alba Derck, age 90 of Louisville, formally from Boca Raton FL, passed away on Saturday, June 18th peacefully at home. She was an extraordinary, fun loving wife, mother & friend, who loved her life in Florida, dancing and enjoying her friendships. She was preceded in death to her late husbands, Joseph J. Trotta (8/5/71), Hazlet, NJ. & Robert H. Derck (8/4/2007) Boca Raton, FL.; and her son Vincent J. Trotta, Woodbridge, NJ.
She will be greatly cherished & missed by her daughter, Dawn Ydoate and her husband Ed Ydoate of Louisville KY; step-son, Joseph Derck of Bangor, PA.; three grandchildren, Vincent J. Trotta Jr., Staten Island NY., Jennifer A. Ziegler, Newport, KY., and Michael E Ydoate, Louisville; two step-grandchildren, Austin Derck, Seattle WA. and Pamela Derck, PA.
A memorial Mass of Celebration will be at 6pm Thursday, July 7, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1000 N Beckley Station Rd, Louisville, KY 40245. Burial will be held in Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MDS-Foundation.
