Alan Ray Wilson, 69, loving husband, father, papaw and great papaw, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at home surrounded by family. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War.

Alan was born on April 7, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Raymond and Darolene Stroud Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his infant son, David Wilson; and older sister, Connie Scheckles.

Alan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roxann Bell Wilson; sons, Kevin (Becky) Wilson and Terry (Sarah) Wilson; daughter, Tammy (Brian) Felker; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Jeff (Katina) Wilson and 3 sisters, Nancy (Gordon) Martin, Diana (Dan) Parsley and Debbie (Larry) Donan.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
