Aimee L. Hester

Aimee L. Hester, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 22, 2026, in Louisville at the age of 50. She was born on August 24, 1976, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Aimee attended Valley High School and built a life centered on family, warmth, and joy. She was known for exceptional cooking and sharing that gift with those around her. She also enjoyed camping and time outdoors. More than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. Aimee was known as the life of the party, someone who loved to laugh and had a special way of making others laugh with her.

She will be remembered with deep love by her daughters, Kandace Bullard and Alyssa Hester; her granddaughters, Skylar and Koree; her father, Floyd Hester; her brother, Chad Hester; her sisters, Kara Skinner and Kailyn Shircliff; her grandmother, Eleanor Littmath; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and a nephew. The love she gave to her family and the happiness she brought into their lives will remain a lasting part of her memory.

Aimee was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Whitley; her brother, Jeremy Hester; her grandfather, Hank Littmath; her grandfather, Delmer Hester; and her grandmother, Wanda Hester.

Visitation will be held on October 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. A graveside service will follow that same day at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Hill Cemetery, 5410 Mount Washington Road, Louisville, KY 40229.

Aimee will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for her generous heart, her laughter, and the devotion she showed to her family.
