Agnes S. Maxson

April 18, 1922 — January 13, 2017

Agnes S. Maxson, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Hosparus In Patient Care Center. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 18, 1922 to the late William Henry and Clara Catherine Braun. She was retired from Lorillard and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Maxson.

Agnes is survived by her son, James W. (Sibyl Slayton) Maxson; two grandchildren, Tammy Maxson and James K. Maxson; four great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
