Africa Simone Harris, 43, was called home to paradise on February 1, 2017. She was a person that was full of life, love and laughter. Africa's spirit would light up a dark room.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Smith.
Africa is survived by her sister, Kia Smith; brother, Eric Smith; father, Warren Harris; grandparents, Nellie and Vincent Bethel and a host of, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 11am-1pm at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 2973 Wilson Ave, Louisville, KY, with a celebration of Africa's life beginning at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
