Ada June Wooden

Ada June Wooden, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Ada was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Mamaw to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted nurse and dedicated most of her life to caring for her patients. Ada will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on November 24, 1935 in London, England to John and Nina Linebaugh. She is preceded in death by her father, John Linebaugh; mother, Nina June Linebaugh,; and her husband, Homer Wooden.

Ada is survived by her loving family, daughters, Nina Nakasone, Beth Chalifoux; grandchildren, Heather Chalifoux, Sarah Chalifoux; great-grandchildren, Anthony Eastridge, Hayden Eastridge, Candice Eastridge; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Ada will be laid to rest at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
