Jennifer L. Powell, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was born on March 10, 1971 in Columbus, Mississippi to Shirley Ann Powell and the late Thomas Lowe Powell.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Shirley Powell; brother, Logan Powell (Meagan); special friend, Charles Flynn; aunts, Mary, Becky Lynn, Karen, Cindy D., Pat, Cindy M., and Nancy; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A service to celebrate Jennifer's life will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Per Jennifer's wishes cremation was chosen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jennifer's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or Kosair Charities.
