Leslie Susanne Morris-Britt, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Leslie was a loving and devoted mom, daughter, sister, and Memaw. She was a very talented and skilled jewelry maker and loved many types of arts and crafts. Leslie was loving and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a cancer survivor and won the battle against stage 4 breast cancer. Leslie enjoyed karaoke, caring for her animals, and being a "mom" to her daughters friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on October 15, 1976 in Louisville, Kentucky to Barry and Carolyn (Atkins) Morris. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Audie and Mary Borders, Novice and Ora Morris, Herb and Rose Atkins; cousins, Adam Bucholz, Cheri Allison; uncles, Roy Morris, Scott Morris; and aunt, Donna Heath.

Leslie is survived by her loving family, daughters, Mary Katherine (Jose') Britt, Samantha Lillie Cole; mother, Carolyn (David) Kleinschmidt; father, Barry (Jennifer) Morris; sisters, Tamara (Bryan) Morris, Jennifer (Michael) Morris; step-sister, Michelle Peterson; step-brother, Kevin (Beth) Kleinschmidt; fiance', Kelly Griggs; step-son, Dalton Greenwell; granddaughter, Scarlett Abigail Smiddy; nephews, Derek (Dalila) Morris, Joshua Griffith, Alex Peterson, Chris Peterson, Matt Peterson, Emmett Kleinschmidt; nieces, Taylor Ford, Janelle Kleinschmidt; great-niece, Mileena Morris; cousins, Joe Allison, Matthew Tierney, William (Josh) Elder, Katie (Nathan) Allison-Garness, Jesse Tiller, Clayton Bucholz, Kai Bucholz, Cathy (Ronnie) Brown, Mark Heath, Rebecca Beard, Leigh Anne White, Alan (Julie) Morris, Jr., Allison (Andy) Carter, Jason (Lisa) Morris, Chad (Megan) Morris; uncles, Jesse Borders, Alan (Flavia) Morris, Danny (Vivian) Morris; aunts, Lynn Allison, Pat Tierney, Nancy (Will) Borders, Crystal Borders, Barbara (Bill) Stewart, Maryanne Kleinschmidt; best friend, Katie Knipp-Mills; her favorite cat, Charlie; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
