Busby, Martha Jean Noon, 91, of Louisville, widow of William W. Busby, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at her home.
Born May 16, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Anna Mae Welsh and George Edward Noon, Sr.
She was a member of the 1951 graduating class of Mercy Academy in Louisville.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Clark, Anna Barber, Sarah Beckman, Margaret Reinhardt, Ethel Bottom, George Noon and Charles Noon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Shawn Busby, Todd Busby (Christine), Kyle Busby and Pat Busby (Dana); her sister, Julie Metzler; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Funeral mass will be 11:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. John Paul II Parish, 3539 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
