Sherry Rae Hartlen, 62, of Louisville, KY, passed away on March 21, 2023. She was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. Sherry enjoyed spending time with her family. In her healthier years, she loved to host get togethers, bake, bowling and croqueting.

She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Patrick Vance and step-fathers, Thomas Fugate and JD Hall.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Melissa ( Brian) Raleigh, Christopher Kopple and Kelsea Hartlen; grandson, Miles Kopple; mother, Darlene Hall; sister, Pamela Smith; brother, Dana Vance and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Sherry's life will be Saturday, April 1, 2023, beginning at 10am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the family to help for the expenses of Sherry's funeral.

She will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
