James Joseph Craig, 45, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. Jamie was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time outside fishing, hunting, grilling and smoking meat, and camping. He also loved to watch his children's sporting events, no matter what the sport. Jamie had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He will be greatly missed.

He was born on September 15, 1977, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Joseph and Bettye (Davis) Craig. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, William Flispart.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Amanda (Flispart) Craig; sons, Aidan and Logan Craig; mother, Bettye Craig; father, Joseph (B.J. Jaggers) Craig; sisters, Lindsey (Joe) Howlett and Nikki (Robert) Dhillon; mother-in-law, Barbara Flispart; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Jamie’s memory be made to Amputee-Coalition.org.
