Ronald Joe Davis, 85, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Ronnie was a longtime member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. He adored caring for and spending time with his dog, Yodi. Over anything else, Ronnie dearly loved his wife of over 63 years, Shirley, who passed on July 25, 2021.

He was born on July 3, 1937, in Madison, Indiana, to the late Charles and Florence (Sampson) Davis. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by the love of his life, Shirley Ann (Miles) Davis; brother, Charles Junior (Shirley) Davis; granddaughter, Stephanie Cayton; and son-in-law, Dean Stidham.

Ronnie is survived by his children, Debbie Stidham, Ronnetta Goben, and Robert Davis; grandchildren, Rodney (Kami) Pettit, Joseph Pettit, Angela (Brandon) O'Daniel, Michael (Sam) Davis, and Skylar Stidham; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow according to Ronnie's wishes.
