1937 - 2022

Mary "Toni" (Drane) Kampschaefer, 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, went home to her heavenly Father on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on July 1, 1937, to the late Lloyd and Evelyn Drane. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles "Chuck" Kampschaefer, Jr.; brother, William (Nancy) Drane; sister, Dory (Drane) Renn; six children, Kathy Namesnik (Brad), Keith Kampschaefer, Ken Kampschaefer, Kristi Chin (Richard), Kurt Kampschaefer (Beth), and Kelly Richards (Jeff).

Nana, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren and many others, was a devout Catholic and known for reaching out to those in need and making many Novenas for family members over the years. She was an excellent cook and was also known for not letting you leave without first eating a plate of food. She is survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:30 a.m. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
