Ronald Ray Vincent, Sr., 68, loving husband, dad and papaw, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He graduated from Stuart High School in Louisville and had a lifelong career in concrete. Ronnie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing pool and riding his lawnmower around his yard. He had a great sense of humor and was loyal, always there to help others. Ronnie loved living out in the country and going for drives with his wife and was, without a doubt, a hard worker.

He was born on November 24, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Royell Vincent and Doris (Mode) Wheatley. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (McGaughey) Vincent; children, Ronald Vincent, Jr. (Christina), Chad Vincent (Susan), and Ashley Jones; grandchildren, Alexus, Taylor, Caleb, Conner, and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Livia, Tilly, and Mia; brothers, Rickie Vincent (Ramona), Bobby Wheatley (Debbie), Alan Wheatley, and Jeff Vincent; sisters, Annie Wheatley (Jeff) and Diane Vincent; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 6:00 p.m. Contributions in Ronnie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
