Lee "Buddy" R. Richard, 83, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Buddy enjoyed working with his hands and made quilts and did wood working. He loved being in the outdoors going fishing. Buddy was an avid University of Kentucky and Cowboys fan. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was born on April 9, 1939 in Boston, Kentucky to Elroy and Katherine (Alvey) Richard. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Linda and Sisters, Thelma, Patsy, Gloria and Addibell.

Buddy is survived by his Daughter, Kathy (Rick) Humphrey, Son, David Richard, Daughter, Stacey Vinson, Grandson, Eric (Tia) Humphrey, Great Grandchildren, Emerson Lee, Elliott, and Chandler, Brother, Ronnie Richard, Sisters, Corine Poland, Mary Ann Gamble, and His Buddy, Alex. Buddy also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Red Brick Cemetery in Boston, Kentucky.
