Beatrice (Banet) Fife, 88, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Bea was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church. In her spare time, Bea loved playing cards and going to bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson, great-grandson, and family.

She was born on February 17, 1934, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, to the late Herman and Grace (Faulkenstein) Banet. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stuart E. "Fiddle" Fife; son, Stuart W. "Fiddle" Fife; and sister, Dolores Engleman.

Bea is survived by her grandson, Dalton (Tori) Fife; great-grandson, Jackson Fife; daughter-in-law, Debra Fife; siblings, Juanita Lilly, Doris Stilger, Janet Schmidt, Kathleen Fritz, Nancy Lemons, and Herman J. Banet, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany, Indiana) with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
