Raymond Thomas Eastridge

Raymond Thomas "Poogie" Eastridge, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born on October 13, 1967, to the late Edward and Patricia (Schaffer) Eastridge. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his aunt, Carol Stemmle. Ray was a graduate of Butler High School and went on to be a graduate of the University of Louisville. He was a very active and faithful member of the Cathedral of the Assumption. Ray was also a member of the Red Barn Alumni Association (RBAA) and a Sergeant of Arms for the Kentucky FOP Lodge 053.

Ray is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Tyler) Clevenger, Jimmy (Dakota Bailey) Eastridge, and Audrey (Mason Sharon) Eastridge; partner, Beth Roberts; brothers, Ed (Karen) Eastridge and Mark (Veronica) Eastridge; stepdaughter, Amanda (Neal) Kreuter; grandchildren, Cora Clevenger, Jason Sharon, Ava Sharon, Kallie Kreuter, and Nolan Kreuter; aunt, Jane Hess; his extended family, Mark and Marjorie Warren; and many cousins.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 S. Fifth Street, Louisville, KY).
