Mildred Ann Clark Copeny, 90, of Louisville, KY, passed away on August 3, 2022, at Signature Jefferson Place. She was a faithful member for over 70 years of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred was a member of the Seasoned Saints, Women's Missionary Society and the Nurse's Guild. She loved quartet singing; fellowshipping with her church family and playing BINGO. No one was a stranger to Mildred, she had a loving and giving spirit and had a firecracker personality. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ophelia Clark; brother, Robert Clark and son-in-law, Delmar Pruitt, Sr.

Mildred leaves to cherish her husband of 70 years, William Copeny; loving daughter, Crystal Copeny-Pruitt; grandchildren, Copeny Pruitt, Delmar Pruitt, Jr. and Christian Pruitt; Byron Greenhill, whom she loved as a son; sister, Delores Crutcher; nephew, Lamont Crutcher; niece, Gwendolyn Crutcher; extended family and many friends.

A celebration of Mildred's life will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2325 Osage Avenue, Louisville, KY 40210, beginning at 12pm.

The family would like to thank the facility and staff at Jefferson Place for the love and care they provided to Mildred.
