Linda L. Horton, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her passion in life were the Smokey Mountains, bowling, and her cats. She was a people person who never met a stranger. Linda will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on August 25, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Hays and Mary (Brady) Bruce. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Elizabeth Bruce, Father, Hays Tinsley Bruce, Children, David Jeffries, Brenda Kay Jeffries, Siblings, Don Bruce, Barbara Scott, and Billy Bruce.

Linda is survived by her loving Husband of 31 years, Clarence William "Buck" Horton; Children, Bridget (Mike) Small, Donnie (Bridget) Jeffries, and Gene Ireland; Grandson, Jesse Decker and Many more Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Rebecca (Jimmy) Amburgey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
