Rebecca Susan "Becky" (Blunk) Pitts, 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church and had been an active volunteer for Love Unlimited 2.0, Inc. Becky was a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett and enjoyed visiting the beach and spending time outdoors.

She was born on July 2, 1951, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Walter "Bud" and Mary (Kasse) Blunk. Becky is survived by her husband of 50 years, Owen "Steve" Pitts; children, Adam Pitts (Samantha) and Amanda Jones (Tom); siblings, Robert Blunk (Karen) and Barbara Smith (Mickey); grandchildren, Elizabeth Dowdle-Pitts, Victoria Bradford (Kenny), and Hannah Pitts; and great-grandchildren, Oakley and Easton Bradford.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
