Roger "Dale" Byrd, 60, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. He enjoyed many things, which included Classic Country Music, singing, collecting knives and guns, and watching TV and movies. Dale was an avid animal lover and fan of Harley Davidson, muscle cars, and trucks. In his younger years, Dale had been an avid hunter. He was family-oriented, a selfless and giving person, who never met a stranger.

He was born on August 29, 1961, in New Albany, Indiana, to Roger and Rosemary (Blanton) Byrd. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his grandson, Kayden Byrd. Dale is survived by his children, Travis, Kayla, and Daniel Byrd; grandchildren, Trayton, Jazzlyn, and Harlyn; and siblings, Sharon, Vicky, Debbie, Ann, Ronald Dale, and Dougie Ray.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
