Charity or "inday pitaw" has always been an inspiration to me through her illness and strength in her relationship with christ.
It was her personal strength that helped me deal with my kidney failure when I was at my lowest point.
I last spoke with her on April 10, 2022 and she was still laughing at rhe hospital and I was too as she was telling me of her antics and adventures of the day.
It pains me to know she went before me. But I know she is in paradise with our other loved ones that went before us. Its a party up there! Where no one is suffering or in pain, everyone is young and living in God's love and glory
Love and miss you inday pitaw

To all of Charity's family,
We are so sorry for your loss and are grateful for Heaven's gain! We are holding you all close in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve and as you celebrate Charity's precious life. She will be greatly missed!

Dear Andy, Abbie, Ryan and family, my heartfelt condolences to each of you. Even though I no longer live in Louisville, Charity always kept in touch.
I was thankful to have her as a friend. She always treated me like I was apart of her family. Our boys Ryan and Emery played soccer together. Ryan was like a son to me. Emery adored Charity, she was like a second Mom. When they say it’s a small world, it truly is. Years prior Marvis and I went to Ballard together. Only God knew years later Charity and I would connect.
She was a faithful and sweet friend. She made the best egg rolls. I thank God for bringing her in my life.
Charity welcome home to the arms of Jesus. You will be missed here.
Prayers, love and hugs to each of you,
Valaida Hamada

We had so many wonderful memories at Baptist, you taught me well and let me know when I was wrong. I am forever grateful for God introducing us, you were my work family and I am sad to see you depart Earth but I KNOW God has a special spot saved, just for you. Rest Peacefully Charity. And thanks for blessing me! ????????

As a Christmas present, Charity made me a lovely framed copy of my favorite verse when I was Ryan’s Sunday School teacher. The verse is
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
I’ve kept that verse even though I lost touch with Charity years ago. Currently, it’s sitting on a table next to my bed. I look forward to the day when I can share this memory with Charity in heaven! Until then, my prayers and sorrow are with you, Andy, Abbie, and Ryan!

Charity was a true friend who would do anything for anyone. She lived out her name. She always had a lovely smile and welcomed all into her home. She was a fabulous hostess. Through the years, we kiddingly called each other “sister”. She leaves a huge hole and will be missed by many.

Andy, Abbie, Ryan - our family sends our love and prayers for God’s love to guide you through your grief. Charity has been my friend for more than 40 years. The single most thing I know about her is the profound love she had for all of you. Her legacy will live forever in you. I will miss her and will hold the blessing of our friendship forever in my heart. Love & Prayers, Patti Nalley
