Tory Lee "Cisco" Slaughter
1963 - 2022

Tory Lee Slaughter, the son of the late Gloria Jean Downing and Thomas Lee Slaughter, was born April 3, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky. Tory graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Sullivan College, He served in the Army as a Specialist Corporal E4 from 1982-1989. He worked at Jones Plastic for three years and also worked at Liquor Zone for a short time. Tory enjoyed his BMW and riding his motorcycle and he was also a Pittsburgh Steeler and University of Kentucky fan.

Tory leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée, Shirley Bottom; two daughters, Shawnqueta and Shannon; one son, Nicholas; three brothers, Don, Mark and Lindsay; ten grandchildren; two step-sons; one step-daughter and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 11am-1pm with a celebration of Tory's life beginning at 1pm.

A graveside service will be Monday, February 14, 2022, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery- Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160, beginning at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tory's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family wishes to thank Jewish Hospital for their tender loving care of their father, brother, grandfather, uncle, fiancée and cousin.
