Esther Marie Francisco, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Esther was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She served at the VFW Post on Longfield Ave. and she was a chef at Churchill Downs for many years. She was an avid animal lover who would take in any stray she could. She loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, and drinking her beer. She will truly be missed by anyone and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on December 8, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to Lovell and Beatrice (Givens) Hart. She is preceded in death by her Father, Lovell Hart, Sr., Mother, Beatrice Hickey, Husband, Donald Hale, Sr., Husband, Tony Francisco, Sr., and Granddaughter, Amber.
Esther is survived by her loving family, Children, Donald Bruce (Carol) Hale, Jr., Anthony (Wendy) Hale, Anna (Robert) Logsdon, Tony Lee (Tarra) Francisco, Jr., and Lisa (Danny) Sweeney; Grandchildren, Jennifer, DJ, Dayton, Jacqueline, Brian, Emma, Dylan, Tristin, Kara, Dylan, Ethan, Shelby, Amy, Brittany, Seirra, Destiny, Justin, and Trenton; Great-Grandchildren, Charlee, Gaige, Caleb, Breniyah, Zaeleigh, Dakota, Naomi, Sierra, Jerry, Lexi, Kaylee, and Adalynn; siblings, William "Buster" (Dolly) Hart, Birdie (Joe) Francisco, and Rosie Sutherland as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
