Jesse Lamar Hyers, 40, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Jesse was a member of Victory Lighthouse Church of God of Prophecy where he was in charge of the audio/visual equipment. He enjoyed being with his family, restoring classic cars, and working in his career as a skilled light and sound engineer for the City of Jeffersonville. In his spare time, he enjoyed partnering with the Clark County and Floyd County Police and Fire Departments in assisting them with their vehicles. Jesse will be remembered as a hard working, loving, and caring individual who would lend a hand and help anyone in need.

He was born on October 18, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gary and Linda (Jones) Hyers.

Along with his parents, Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Boston) Hyers; children, Nathan, Cameron, Austin, Jasmine, Katie, Payton, Jaelyn, Chase, and Anthony; siblings, Jammie, Teresa (Ray), Steve, Robert, Michelle, Tammy, and Michael; brother-in-law, Billy (Mary Rose); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, co-workers, and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane) and will continue from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Victory Lighthouse Church (203 Cherry St, New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at the church with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
