Marietta (Perkins) Branham, 80, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. Marietta was a member of Grace Assembly of God and also Hardinsburg Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, being outside, and tending to her flower gardens. Of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was born on February 9, 1941, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late James and Elvie Etta (Bezy) Perkins.
Marietta is survived by her loving children, Rusty (Kathy) Stafford, Vickie Brown, Ann (Steve) LaRue, James (Wyndie) Branham, Tracie (Abner) Strong, and Anita (Tim) Richards; siblings, Linda Brown, Jerry (Susie) Perkins, Barbara (Eddie) Johnson, Warren (Glenda) Perkins, and Wayne (Becky) Perkins; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville-Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Edwardsville, Indiana.
