Maurice "Moe" Reid Sr., 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Moe was a car enthusiast and spent his whole life at the Drag Races with his family. He enjoyed watching his Grandson competing in the drag car that they built together. Moe loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on August 11, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to Hurley and Loretta (Schook) Reid. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Pat Green.

Moe is survived by his loving Wife of 45 years, Theresa Reid, Daughters, Dee Dee Vance, Paula (James) Vaughn, Melody (Moe) Croomes, Son, Little Moe Reid, Jr., Step-Sons, Rick Nall, and Jeff Nall, Brother, Kenny (Sue) Reid, Sisters, Linda Ryan, Judy Reid, and Dottie Fey. Moe also leaves behind to cherish his memory 13 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
