Delores Ann (Mounce) Ables, 78, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. She was a member of Charlestown Road Church of Christ and the Ladies Union Club. Delores adored her grandchildren and was a caretaker to many. She was an excellent baker, especially when it came to pies, loved to sing, and could easily be described as a bargain hunter.

She was born on September 14, 1942 in Sommerset, Kentucky to Everett and Julia (Abbott) Mounce. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her sons, Darryl and Scott Ables; and siblings, Imogene Stout, Everette Mounce, Alice May and Roger Britt.

Delores is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth Ables, Sr.; children, Ken Ables, Jr. (Debbie), Toby Ables (Deanna), Tonya Carroll (Gary); daughter-in-law, Risa Ables; sisters, Julia McDonald, Brenda Bowles, Patty Whitaker; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with her funeral service taking place at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Galena Cemetery.
