Steve Flener, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Steve was born on April 3, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to William Mell and Billie Flener. He is preceded in death by his parents: and son, Damon Kevin Flener.

Steve is survived by his daughters; Keri Ellis (Zak), Kimberly Elaine Flener (Justin); fiancee', Beverly Scalf; sisters, Yvonne Flener-Lopez (Billy), Laverne Flener-Frazier (Bobby) and Christina Adkins-O'Neal; brother, Timmy Flener; Grandchildren, Makayla Grace Flener, Jacob Mel Clark, and Cody Damon Flener; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Burial will be held at 12:00 pm EST (11:00 am CST) on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Morgan-Smith Cemetery in Morgantown, Kentucky
