Kendrick Maurice "Bigg" Mason, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Kendrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He never met a stranger because he loved to talk and debate about sports. He had a love for race horses, classic cars, and Jordan tennis shoes aka "Sneaker King". He loved listening to Mary J Blige, Erykah Badu, and Frankie Beverley and Maze. If you knew him you know his favorite sports teams were the Chicago Bears and the Duke Blue Devils. He had a big heart for his family and anyone who was in need. Bigg will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor and pleasure of knowing him.

He was born on February 7, 1975 in Louisville, Kentucky to LC and Hassie (Coleman) Mason. He is preceded in death by his father, LC Mason, Sr. and mother, Hassie B. Mason; siblings, Luther Clarence Mason, Jr., Dorothy Ann Livingston, and Sandra Taylor.

Kendrick is survived by his loving Wife of 10 years, LaShunder M. Mason; children, De'Kendrick Mason, Keishawn Mason, Shaelynn Brown, Aaliyah Mason, and LaKedrick Goodwin; granddaughter, Cheyenne Mason; siblings, Pat (Tony) Allen, Maxine (Theodore) Witherspoon, Charlotte Heady, Brenda (Derek) Calvin, Cheryl Mason, Loretta (Kenneth) Wilkerson, Wanda Mason, Delores (Charles) Retter, Bobby Macklin, and Carolyn Daughtery; honorary children, Quisha "Pixie" Taylor, Brandon Lusco, and Jayvon Shelby; in-laws, Lorenzo and Delores Murrah; brother-in-laws, Kendrick Murrah, and Jamaal Crawford. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
