Betty Joan (Bline) Rogers, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Betty had a love for music and enjoyed singing. She liked to spend time reading and would never pass up a trip to shop at Target and get a burger at Five Guys.

She was born on May 28, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late John and Evelyn (Berryman) Bline. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Alvin Rogers; son, John Rogers; daughter-in-law, Dana Best; brother, Frank Bline; sister, Sally Crabtree; and grandson, Jacob Lawrence Rogers.

Betty is survived by her loving children, John (Rexene) Best, Jake Rogers, Carol (Gerard) Voetelink, Stephen (Jennifer) Rogers, William "Tim" Rogers, and Nick (Barbara) Rogers; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Rebecca (Wallace) Barnes, John Bline, Jr., Lonnie Bline, Timothy Bline, Julie (Raymond) Tapp, and Glen (Marilyn) Bline.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evans Landing Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
