George "Garry" Ryan, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Garry graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1973. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1998. He also attended graduate studies at Western Kentucky University, and Ball State University, obtaining degrees in geology and chemistry. He was a rock music fan, and loved tinkering with old cars.

Garry was born on January 16, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to George and Hazel Ryan. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Garry is survived by his sister, Robyne D. Ryan, niece, Lauren Smith, and nephew, Jason Schroeder, brother, Shawn Ryan (Theresa), niece, Hollie Doll (Eric), great-niece, Olivia Doll, great-nephews, Tyler Doll and Bryce Doll,

The family requests that contributions in Garry’s memory be made to American Kidney Foundation.
