Richard Charles "Rick" Corder, 69, passed away on July 18, 2021. He was an Army veteran. Rick enjoyed traveling with Brenda, fishing and was kind hearted; always helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Edna Corder; brothers, Stephen Corder and Donald Corder and his four-legged companion, Taz.

Rick leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Brenda Corder; children, Charlotte and Richard Corder; step-children, Danny Geer and Dana Geer; 4 grandchildren; several great-children, siblings, Carol Ann Corder, Joseph Corder, Susan (Billy) Edlin, Thomas Corder and Joyce Corder.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-8pm. A celebration of Rick life will be Thursday, July 22, 2021, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnstown Road, Louisville, KY, beginning at 10am.

Rick will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.
