Roberta Bowlin, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

She was born on January 6, 1941 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to the late Gilbert and Lucille (Underwood) Thompson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ray Thompson and Patsy Blevins. Roberta retired from Jefferson County Public Schools. In her free time she enjoyed going to the boat and traveling; especially to the beach. In her younger years you could find her shopping with her girls and working out. Roberta will always be remembered as a people person, who was always so sweet and caring towards others.

Roberta is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Wade,Vickie (Tom) McCrary and Tina (JR) Marsteller, grandchildren, Rebecca (Eric Norris ) Tooley, Amber (Joshua) Weaver, Aaron McCrary, Jerry (Olivia) Wade, Lindsey (Stephen) Evans, Anthony (Hannah) Marsteller and Michael Wade, great grandchildren, Addie Tooley, Tristan Wade, Alex Adams, Evelyn Weaver and Jenna Norris, along with her sisters, Helen Roof and Louise McNair.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 and 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, with burial to follow at Garnettsville Cemetery in Brandenburg, Kentucky.
