Rebecca "Becky" Jean Shearin, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021. Rebecca was born and raised in Highland Park and she lived in South Louisville the remainder of her life. She was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost as a young girl and a life long member of Calvary Apostolic Church. She was a graduate of Manual High School and received an Associates Degree at Spencerian College. Becky will be deeply missed by family and many friends, she didn't want tears at her home going but remember her with laughs and stories to keep her memory happy. Please keep her sons in your thoughts and prayers.

She was born on September 28, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clifton and Peggy (Whitlock) Garrett. She is preceded in death by her father, Clifton Wayne Garrett, Sr. and mother, Peggy Sharon Garrett; brother, Tony Garrett; grandparents, Julius (Mildred) Whitlock and James (Elizabeth) Garrett

Rebecca is survived by her loving family, husband, Stacey Shearin; sons, Benjamin M Shearin, Stephen E. Shearin, and Andrew W. Shearin; siblings, Lisa M (Tim) Harlow and Wayne (Lisa) Garrett; nieces and nephews, Ashley Cox, Alex McGrew, Dusty Pedigo, Vincent McGrew, Skyler Goss, Aleah Goss, Hailey Rutherford, and Dallas Cox; great-nephew, River Goss; Godchildren, Cody Boone and Clover Boone. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Louisville, KY with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
