Charles Edward Cowley

Charles Edward Cowley, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Charles was an avid outdoorsman and he loved fishing and hunting. He served in the US Army and he retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. Charles will truly be missed by his friends and family.

He was born on June 15, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Mary (Drake) Cowley. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Graham Cowley and mother, Mary Kathryn Cowley; wife, Darlene Cowley; siblings, Denis Cowley and Linda Cowley; daughter-in-law, Joy Cowley.

Charles is survived by his loving, sons, Todd Cowley, Brian Cowley, and Shawn Cowley; grandchildren, Todd Warren Cowley, Jr., and Christopher Cowley; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laura (Randy) Boswell, Paula (Warren) Swift, and Tammy (Danny) Sauer. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
