Mildred (Millie) Lee Harned, 82, of Louisville passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Millie was a devoted loving wife, mother, mammaw, great grandma, sister, and friend. She devoted her life to serving the Lord, her family, and others. She was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church for over 60 years and served as a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years. She retired as a bus driver from JCPS.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Russell. She is survived by children Russell Morgan Harned Jr., Pam Cooper, Vicky Prewitt (Jim) and Kim Fritz; grandchildren Joshua Harned (Amy), Wendy Harned, Alan Cooper, and Ashlee Prewitt; great grand children Lexi Cooper, Brody Harned and Kaleb Hayse; sister Frances Spena; many nieces and nephews; David and Yvonne Hatfield and her dog Baby Bear.

Visitation for Millie will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville KY 40272 on Sunday May 9th from 4-8 p.m.. A celebration of Millie's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10th at the funeral home followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
