Betty Lou (Fouts) Langnehs Temple, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was a longtime member of Portland Avenue Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. Betty enjoyed shopping, working out in the yard, and also playing golf and bowling.

She was born on December 22, 1929 to the late Lamar and Anna Lee (Slaughter) Fouts. Betty was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ernie Langnes, Wayne Temple; and siblings, Harry Fouts, David Fouts, Grace Evelyn True and Margaret Fry.

Betty is survived by her siblings, Joyce Schoch, Helen Franz, Curtis Fouts; as well as many nieces and nephews that adored her.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville.
