Janet Marie Zimmerman Blake, 79, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Janet was a long-time member of Clarksville Church of Christ and was devoted to her family that she dearly cherished.

She was born on March 30, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Harry Zimmerman and Rebecca Zink Zimmerman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Leroy Blake; sisters, Peg Kahl and Joyce Morris; and brother, Jerry Zimmerman.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Tina Blake, Rebecka (Ron) Shively and April Blake; brother, Sonny (Uberta) Zimmerman; sister, Pam Caudill; granddaughters, Blake (Donnie) Arnold and Brooke Shively; and great-grandchildren, Cross, Jaxson, Everly and Audrey.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
