Savon Adrian Murphy, 20, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Savon enjoyed weightlifting, and working out. He valued life and lived a healthy drug and alcohol free lifestyle. He also helped train and breed dogs with his father. With his father, Savon would take emotional support dogs to help homeless and our Veterans. Savon graduated from Valley High School in 2019. He was working for UPS and was looking forward to a promotion to R & L Carriers. Savon always had a smile on his face, carefree attitude, and always helping those in need.

He was born on January 28, 2001 in Nashville, Tennessee to Rodney and Erika. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Sherry Jackson.

Savon is survived by his Mother, Erika Jackson, Father, Rodney Murphy, Sisters, Endia Murphy, and Candance Ellington, Brothers, Rodney Murphy, Jr., Rodtray McGinnis, and Brandon Fines, Nieces, Riya Murphy, and Gia Monroe, Grandparents, Vernon Wells, and Carolyn Ba-Tis, Uncles, Sean Jackson, and Reginald Murphy, Aunts, Stacy Jackson, and Yelonda Muphy. Savon also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Coworkers, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Graveside Services with Horse Drawn Carriage and Funeral Procession will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at Green Meadows Cemetery.
