She was born on September 13, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Ronald and Coletta (Schneider) Swartz. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Clements, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Harlow and Carole LaSalle; and brothers-in-law, Harvey Maurer and Tom Boofter.
Coletta is survived by her daughters, Terrie (John) Drescher and Diana Clements; sisters, Ronelle Maurer, Judy (Fred) Dieckmeyer, Sandy Boofter, and Michele (Les) Norris; grandchildren, Shaun (Shannon) Bradley, Shannon (Hector) Nale, Jacob Drescher, Sheri Smith, Charlie (Kelli) Drescher, and Scott (Angie) Drescher; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church - St. Paul Campus (218 Scheller Avenue, Sellersburg). Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church with burial to follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, facial coverings and social distancing is required for all attendees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Coletta's memory can be made to the St. John Paul II Building Fund or WHAS Crusade For Children (520 W. Chestnut St., Louisville, KY 40202).
