Bill Castile, 76, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Bill retired from Padgett as a crane operator after many years of employment. He enjoyed working on antique cars and was known to be able to fix nearly anything. Bill had a heart to help others and loved spending time outdoors, especially when he could enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Above all else, Bill loved his family and getting to spend time with his grandchildren.

He was born on October 24, 1944, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to the late Bernard and Rosie (Hines) Castile. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, David Castile; brothers, Bernard "Red" Castile, Jr., and Tom Castile; and sister, Linda Castile.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gloria J. Castile; son, Sean (Tracey) McIntosh; sister, Peggy (Woody) Feck; grandchildren, Melia and Liam McIntosh; nieces, Tracy Lewellen and Tina Castile; and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Veron Cemetery.
