Tammy Michelle Maxson, 51, of Louisville Ky passed away peacefully Sunday February 14, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1969 in Louisville to Sibyl Slayton & James Maxson. She married her life-long partner Quyen in July of 1986. Tammy was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, and Homemaker for many years.

Tammy is survived by her loving life partner of 35 years, Quyen Hong; mother, Sibyl Slayton & father, James Maxson; brother, James Kevin Maxson & nephew James Daniel Maxson; 3 daughters, Laquana H., Jasmine H., & Alexandria H.; 13 grandchildren, Genie, Kalia, Jaden, Sameerah, Timothy, Bryson, Levi, Karmen, Khamari, Ivy, Tevin, Xander, & Ace; and a host of relatives & close friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
