Teddi Shields, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Teddi loved her children and her family. She always loved listening to music, soaking up the sun, and spending time with her old man.

She was born on December 29, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbie and Phillis Tarrence. She is preceded in death by her mother, Phillis Norris, father, Herbie Tarrence, son, Mark Thompson, and sister, Paula Weast.

Teddi is survived by her loving family, children, Corey Shields, Ricky Shields, and Brandy (Robert) Carter; Boyfriend, Ricky Decker; grandchildren, Hannah Logsdon, Haley Logsdon, Brayden Decker, and Alexa Decker; mom, Betty Tarrance; siblings, Rose Adye, Ray (B) Lobb, and Herbie Tarrance. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
