Shawn Travis Ramsey, 47 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 13, 2021.

He was born on August 31, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky

He is preceded in death by his wife, Christina Hope Ramsey, and his Aunt, Rena Mae Ryan along with several other family members that have gone before.

Shawn was loved more than he knew, and will be missed even greater. Shawn was the comedian of the family always trying to get a laugh out of everyone he knew. He was a kind person, and would always lend a helping hand to those in need. Shawn leaves behind lots of love, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Shawn is survived by his Children, Cain (Amanda) Ramsey, Christian Pace, Chance Ramsey, and Caitlyn Ramsey, Grandchildren, Connor Ramsey, and Avery Ramsey, Father, Alford Lee Ramsey, Mother, Billie Diane Hourigan, Brother, Troy (Rachel) Ramsey Sr, Sisters, Nancy Gagel (Mario), Tamtha Hall, Natasha Ramsey, and Natalie (Curtis) Burden. Shawn also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, and many Friends.


Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
