Bennie T. Lewis Sr., 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. Bennie was a great dad and always provided for his family. He has worked as an electrician in Louisville for over 60 years and owned his own company Big Ben Electric for 30 years.

He was born on August 4, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Howard and Anna (Huff) Lewis. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Washington Lewis, mother, Anna Mae Lewis, and wife, Carolyn Lewis.

Bennie is survived by his loving family, sons, Bennie Thomas Lewis, Jr. and David Wayne Lewis; grandchildren, Heather McGeorge, Ashley (Brian) March, Cody (Sanita) Lewis, and Haley (Jordon) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Olivia McGeorge, Avery McGeorge, Braden March, and Dalton March; sister, Jean (Bob) Taylor. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions all services will be private.

The family requests that contributions in Bennie’s memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
