Kathryn "Faye" (Gibson) Banet, 79, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member and beloved sister of the Pink Ribbon Pilates.

She was born on August 22, 1941, in Elizabeth, Indiana, to the late Willard and Kathryn (Babcock) Gibson. Faye was also preceded in death by her husband, Merle Banet; and grandson, Zachary Banet.

Faye is survived by her children, Rick Banet, Kelly Condra (Bryan), Doug Banet (Emily), and Kim Nunley (Gary); sister, Jettie "Lee" Bowling; grandchildren, Nicole Kirkman (Josh), Tristen Samuels (Kyle), Samantha Condra, Corey Banet, Erin Banet, Nathan Banet, Alaina Banet, Ashley Barnes (Kyle), Abby Nunley, and Audrey Nunley; and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Eli, Reid, and Luke.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery.

Contributions in Faye's memory may be made to her church or to the Pink Ribbon Pilates in c/o the Floyd Memorial Foundation (1850 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
