Georgia Ann (Hanifen) Thompson, 70, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

She was born on November 16, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James and Virginia (Montgomery) Hanifen. Georgia was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Dattilo; and brother, Robert Hanifen.

Georgia is survived by her husband, Elmer Thompson; children, April Robards (Rob), Angel Dattilo, Steven Dattilo, and Lynn Brown; brothers, Terry, Steven, Gary (Tim), and Timmy (Shawn) Hanifen; sisters, Karen Hulsey (Paul), Lisa Hanifen, Patty Hanifen (Kim), Tina Higdon (Eric), and Jenny Cockerall (Ernie); grandchildren, Kyle Bieber, Kassi Dattilo, Chance Griffin, Dylan Vaughn, Steven Rust, Heather Murphy, and Desiree Forasiepi (Steven); and great-grandchildren, Kallie, KJ, Tristen, and Carliegh.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Georgia's wishes.

Contributions in Georgia’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
